Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a MIG welding position in Brookhaven, MS. The role involves welding structural steel components, reading blueprints, and maintaining high quality in a fast-paced production setting.

Base pay is $18.50–$19.00 per hour with a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Monday–Friday shift. Benefits include health, dental, and vision plans from day one, plus PTO, holidays, 401k, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year welding experience in production
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Obtain and maintain CWB and AWS welding certification
• Forklift and overhead crane operation a plus
• Comfort with power hand tools
• Willingness to train, certify and operate forklift and overhead crane
• Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively
• Basic math and measurement skills

Responsibilities

• Welds on MIG processes for structural steel components
• Set weld parameters, monitor bead quality and gas flow
• Read blueprints and shop drawings
• Train others on proper welding procedures
• Operate overhead crane and lifting equipment
• Maintain quality and adherence to specifications
• Keep accurate counts and organization of parts
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
