Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fitter Welder to build foundational frames, bases, and assemblies for engineered enclosures.

The role combines craftsmanship and teamwork to ensure units meet specs and quality standards, with progression through tiers I–III based on skill and contribution. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, MIG welding, fitting and aligning components, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in metal fabrication or welding.

Responsibilities

• Interpret fabrication and weld drawings to assemble components.
• Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel.
• Measure, fit, and align channels, beams, and components.
• Operate shears, brake press, torches, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes safely.
• Conduct finishing work and verify conformance to drawings.
• Follow QA procedures and document inspection results.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas per 5S principles.
• Communicate with supervisors and cross-functional teams about materials and progress.
• Notify lead person when product is ready for inspection.
• Return tools to proper locations daily.
