Job summary

Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated Fabrication Welder to produce a variety of sheet metal parts that meet dimensional requirements.

You will set up parts per shop prints, MIG weld, and perform final fabrication assembly, working solo or in a small team to build metal buildings and enclosures. The role requires 2+ years of welding experience in manufacturing, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency with tools like squares, clamps, and angle grinders.

Qualifications

• Two plus years of welding experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Two plus years of experience with basic tools (squares, clamps, fillet gauge, angle grinder).
• Familiar with shop drawings, measuring, and precision fit-up for welds.

Responsibilities

• Weld MIG mild and stainless steel according to shop prints.
• Set up and align parts for welding and perform finishing fabrication.
• Inspect parts against drawings and maintain proper weld quality and dimensions.
