Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking skilled Fabrication Welders to join our manufacturing team in Georgia. You will fabricate and weld sheet metal components used in electrical enclosures and metal structures, with emphasis on precision and adherence to blueprints.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience, MIG welding proficiency, and the ability to read shop drawings. Candidates must pass a welding test, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Proficiency in MIG welding (mild and stainless steel).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop prints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Welding test required; pass background check and drug screening.
• Welding certifications (1G, 3G) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret shop drawings and welding symbols to perform accurate welds.
• Perform MIG welding (mild and stainless steel), including spray transfer.
• Set up, align, tack, and weld components to meet dimensional specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy throughout fabrication.
• Collaborate with team members and notify inspectors when work is ready.
