Job summary

Aerotek in Topeka, KS is hiring MIG/Flux Core Welders for a permanent onsite role. You will join a production team fabricating parts to exact customer specs in a climate-controlled environment, working second or third shift with overtime opportunities.

The position offers competitive hourly pay of $25-$30 plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid on your first check and comprehensive benefits. If you are skilled with GMAW/FCAW/GTAW and can read blueprints, you will fit right in.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Read tape measures and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools to properly fit up assemblies.
• Utilize hand, pneumatic, electric, and battery-powered tools.
• Operate plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and carbon air arc equipment.
• Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
