Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a MIG/Flux Welder for our Topeka, KS facility. You will fabricate parts and assemblies to exact customer specs in a clean, climate-controlled environment, joining a team that values safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include interpreting welding procedures, using measuring tools, and welding in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Two shifts are available with overtime prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience welding MIG/Flux and reading drawings.
• Ability to weld in multiple positions.
• Use calibrated measuring tools for proper fit-up.
• Follow weld procedures and symbols per drawings.
• Work in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding procedures and symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools to properly fit up assemblies.
• Operate plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and carbon arc equipment.
• Weld in various positions using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
• Work with Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel.
