Aerotek in Anoka, MN is seeking skilled Welders for immediate contract-to-hire opportunities. You will perform MIG, Pulse MIG, and TIG welding on mild steel, read blueprints, and weld to exact specifications. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork on a fully onsite production floor.

The position offers competitive hourly pay ($22-28/hr) with shifts available and benefits upon temporary assignment, reflecting Aerotek's commitment to reliable, high-quality manufacturing output.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, Pulse MIG, or TIG welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent lifting, bending, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG/Pulse MIG welding on mild steel parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Load and position parts in fixtures and complete welds to specification.
• Produce consistent, high-quality welds that meet company standards.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
