Job summary
Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role focuses on MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel, with responsibility for reading blueprints and performing weld tests.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years welding experience, can read tape measures, work at heights on ladders or lifts, and be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts. We offer a sign-on bonus and weekly pay.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding experience, including MIG welding, structural welding, and sheet metal welding.
- Familiarity with working with blueprints, hand tools power tools, and welders
- Proficient in reading and converting fractions to decimals.
Responsibilities
- MIG, Flux Core, TIG Welding: Perform welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel components with strong, precise welds.
- Structural & Sheet Metal Welding: Weld heavy tubing and 14 gauge sheet metal for structural and plenum work.
- Fabrication: Assist in fabricating custom components with accurate dimensions.
- Blueprint & Tape Measure Reading: Read blueprints and measure materials precisely.
- Work at Heights: Use platform ladders and scissor lifts to weld at elevated areas.
