Job summary

WireCrafters, LLC is seeking welders to assemble metal panels by welding components per specifications. The role operates on a 3rd shift from 8:15 pm to 6:45 am, Monday through Thursday, with some overtime on Fridays.

Starting pay is $22.50 per hour, with quarterly raises to reach $33.46 within 2.5 years and annual COL raises after top-out. Benefits become available after 90 days and include Health/Dental/Vision, FSA, Life Insurance, 401(k) with matching, and Paid Time Off.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Able to read standard tape measure.
• Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or GED requested.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal components together into various size metal panels.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring cleanliness.
• Grind off excess weld and rough spots with grinders.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Ensure materials and supplies are available to meet daily productivity goals.
• Notify supervisor of faulty operation of equipment or defective materials.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
