Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring motivated welders for the 3rd shift to join a stable, well-supported team. You will weld steel and aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG/TIG, using fixtures to position components and control distortion.

The role includes self-inspections, paperwork, and maintaining a safe, efficient work area. Starting pay is $26.75/hour with premiums for aluminum/robotic welding and for 2nd/3rd shift, plus a comprehensive benefits package after

Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication or welding.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Experience with at least one welding process and ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to perform cleaning, grinding, and weld prep work.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW processes.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
