Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year welding experience or formal training.
• Ability to read drawings and shop math.
• Must pass basic weld test.

Responsibilities

• Operate arc or wire welders with proper settings.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Set up area with material handlers for efficiency.
• Assist in training less skilled welders.
• Inspect parts and maintain quality during runs.
• Perform both setup and run operations.
• Follow Lockout-Tagout procedures.
• Report injuries and safety concerns.
• Maintain SDS & PPE compliance.
• Keep work area clean; operate forklift when needed.
