Job summary

The Toro Company is seeking a Welder I in Oklahoma to weld components and assemble machine parts for Ditch Witch equipment. You will read blueprints, set up fixtures, and operate MIG welding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Expect shifts with overtime as needed; day shift starts 6:00 AM and night shift 8:00 PM, with weekend coverage as required. Safety gear and procedural training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Have MIG welding experience OR completed a formal welding training program.
• Pass required entry-level plate test for production welding.
• Have mechanical skills and experience using hand and air-powered tools.
• Reading, clerical, and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Read information from blueprints, technical manuals or other documents.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures, and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
• Use a hoist to lift and position large components and weldments.
• Set up, adjust, and operate MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.
• Remove weldments from fixtures, clean and check for quality, and correct defects.
• Record inventory transactions and track location of parts using a computer.
