Job summary

The Toro Company – Ditch Witch is seeking a Machine Operator I in Oklahoma. Starting pay is $18.89 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

You will operate production equipment such as lathes, mills, drills, welders, plasma and laser machines, and may also perform mechanical assembly as part of a cross-functional team. Responsibilities include set up, adjustment, and operation of equipment, reading blueprints, using hand and air tools, and recording production data on a computer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiar with basic math and able to read written instructions.
• Experience with mechanical repair or metalworking machinery is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate production equipment while monitoring performance and sequence.
• Set up fixtures and perform mechanical assembly using hand and air tools.
• Use a computer to check location, inventory, and routing of parts and maintain production records.
• May read information from blueprints.
