The Toro Company is hiring a Welder I at Ditch Witch in Perry, OK. This role involves reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, and performing MIG welding on machine components to support our Ditch Witch line.

Typical shifts include Day (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) and Night (8:00 PM-4:00 AM) with overtime as needed; starting pay is $20.66/hr during the day, with a $2.00 shift differential for night shifts. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, life insurance, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MIG welding experience or formal welding training.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Read information from blueprints, technical manuals or other documents.
• Set up fixtures, mount parts in fixtures, and perform mechanical assembly.
• Use MIG welding equipment to weld machine components.
• Remove components from fixtures, inspect welds for quality, and correct defects.
• Use a hoist to lift and position large, heavier components and weldments.
• Use a computer to check the location, inventory, routing of parts, and to record inventory transactions.
