Qualifications

• Experience MIG welding steel components in fabrication/manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints with weld symbols and tolerances.
• Accurate measurement and layout of weld locations/sizes.
• Welding with correct equipment and filler metals per drawings.
• Ability to review drawings before welding work.
• Operate metalworking machinery safely ( rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, saws, brakes, shears ).
• Attention to detail and high-quality, structurally sound welds.
• Follow safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components for conveyor systems as per specs.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints for weld locations and sizes.
• Measure and lay out welds with precision for proper fit.
• Execute welds using specified equipment and filler metals per drawings.
• Review drawings and welding requirements before starting work.
• Operate and maintain metalworking machinery safely.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment to ensure consistent welds.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
