PTMW, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking a self-motivated Welder to join our production team. Weld on in-house projects and may travel to client locations to perform duties on site, ensuring tasks are completed safely by deadlines to meet customer needs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year welding experience, and proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW with the ability to read tape measures and lift up to 100 lbs. Pass pre-employment tests as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical Certificate or Degree in Welding preferred.
• 1+ year welding experience required.
• Experience in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW welding processes.
• Working knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Proficient in basic math and able to read tape measures.
• Able to pass visual and bend tests in various materials.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and follow Welding procedures and welding symbols on drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools to fit up assemblies.
• Utilize industry tools and equipment (hand, pneumatic, electric, battery powered).
• Weld parts in various positions and materials (Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel).
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of production as needed.
