PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Intermediate Welder to set up and operate welding processes, focusing on MIG welding of mild steel and contributing to Tennant product manufacturing. You will read engineering drawings, select fixtures and work procedures, and maintain quality and productivity standards on the shop floor.
The role requires 2+ years welding experience or 5+ years without a degree, and passing a welding assessment test.
PDS Tech Commercial is currently looking for MIG welders on 1st shift.
1st Shift is 5am to 3pm Monday through Thursday.
Must be able to MIG weld on mild steel.
The Intermediate Welder is responsible for setting up and operating welding processes while achieving and maintaining established quality and productivity standards. You’ll have an opportunity to use your welding skills to produce high quality parts that go into our Tennant products. Technical degree and 2 or more years of welding experience OR 5 or more years ofwelding experience without degree
Exposed to hazards/risks that require body protection (gloves, pants, steel toes, sleeves, safety glasses, etc.)
$25.00 to $35.00 per hour
