Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking MIG Welders for 1st and 2nd shifts on-site. Temp-to-Hire (3+ months) with OT opportunities. Responsibilities include welding I-Beam frames and fuel tanks, reading blueprints, and assembling components with precision. Must pass competency test and pre-employment screening. OT is available but not mandatory, schedule supports stability and consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Must read tape measures and measuring devices.
• Must read blueprints.
• GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must be highly motivated.
• Able to communicate and work well with others.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Weld I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions. Sheet metal thickness ranges from 10 gauge to 1/2 inch.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt components to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects or malfunctions.

We are seeking MIG Welders who are dedicated, detail orientated and who wants a stable consistent hours where OT is always available but not mandatory.**Responsibilities:*** Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
