Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking MIG Welders for on-site work in Milwaukee, WI. Positions are 1st shift 5:00am-1:30pm CT or 2nd shift 4:00pm-12:30am CT, Monday through Friday, with overtime available but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include welding I-beam frames and fuel tanks, reading blueprints, and inspecting finished work. Candidates must pass a competency test and pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Able to read measuring devices (tape measure etc.).
• Able to read blueprints – this is extremely important.
• GMAW (MIG/MAG) experience preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Welding I-Beam Frame and Fuel Tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions.
