Job summary

Surge Staffing in Lancaster, OH seeks a reliable MIG & TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will weld to specifications, read basic drawings, and maintain safe, efficient work practices in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include welding, interpreting blueprints and work orders, inspecting weld quality, and keeping a clean, safe workspace while adhering to all safety procedures. EOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience (TIG experience preferred).
• Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Dependable with a positive work ethic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable MIG & TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience producing quality welds, reading basic drawings, and working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday: Overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on metal components
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures
