Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a skilled welder for second shift to repair non-conforming parts/components using MIG/TIG welding. You will follow safety procedures, move parts, and support plant flow while maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Requirements include high school diploma, 3–5 years welding experience, MIG/TIG certifications, and ability to read and follow work instructions in English. ESOP culture and ownership mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; able to read, write, and understand English well enough to safely perform duties and follow instructions.
• 3–5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing/plant setting.
• Certified in MIG and/or TIG welding.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Repair parts/components that are non-conforming to customer specifications by welding, grinding, or other methods as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment.
• Move parts to correct location in the plant/facility and maintain welding equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and participate in preventative actions as appropriate.
• Support plant flow by flexing within areas as needed and communicating with shift supervisors.
