Job summary

Cryogenic Industrial Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled welder to perform MIG and TIG welds on carbon steel and stainless steel. You will read detailed fabrication drawings and weld symbols, and execute welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions with precision.

Responsibilities include quality checks, documentation of logs and consumables, and aiding in jig/fixture development and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
• Familiar with ASME and AWS welding standards.
• Strong understanding of welding metallurgy and heat-affected zones.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long durations.
• Minimum 2 years welding experience or technical training.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel to precise tolerances.
• Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Perform welds in multiple positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead).
• Conduct quality control checks, including dimensional verification and basic NDT preparation.
• Assist in developing jigs, fixtures, and process improvements.
• Maintain welder logs, repair records, and consumable usage documentation.
