Job summary

CTR Cryo, a cryogenic manufacturing company and part of the TransTech Group, is seeking a MIG Welder to join our Montgomery, TX facility. You will perform high-precision MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum for high-vacuum or liquid gas systems, ensuring leak-proof seals and structural integrity.

The role emphasizes reading drawings/WPS, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety procedures in a cryogenic environment. A high school diploma and welding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Read and interpret welding drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Welder.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on specialized alloys.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and WPS to ensure joints meet cryogenic standards.
• Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding machines, torches, and related tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and aesthetics.
• Adhere to safety procedures and wear PPE; maintain a clean work area.
