CTR Cryo, part of the TransTech Group, is seeking a MIG Welder to join our cryogenic manufacturing team in Montgomery. This role emphasizes high-precision joining for stainless steel and aluminum used in cryogenic systems, prioritizing leak-proof seals and structural integrity.

You will read engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications, set up MIG equipment, weld to cryogenic standards, inspect welds, and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with AWS and company policies.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Some lifting up to 50 lbs
• Read technical drawings and blueprints is a plus
• Must be a reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual

Aufgaben

• Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on specialized alloys, often thin-gauge materials and intricate assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS) to ensure joints meet cryogenic standards.
• Clean, cut, fit, and assemble metal components for welding.
• Set up, operate, and maintain MIG welding machines, torches, and related tools.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and aesthetic quality per AWS and standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures, wear PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
