Job summary

Precision Cut Industries is a growing metal fabrication contract manufacturer specializing in laser cutting, machining, and precision welding. We seek a focused welder to fabricate quality parts according to specifications in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will perform Mig and Tig welding, read blueprints, and work with fixturing in a hot/cold warehouse environment while maintaining safety and high-quality standards. 5 years of Mig/Tig experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years Mig and Tig welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
• Proficient use of measuring tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig and primarily Tig welding daily.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to ensure correct layouts.
• Weld light gauge steel and aluminum; work with fixturing.
• Maintain safety and quality guidelines at all times.
• Notify supervision of faulty equipment or materials; perform routine maintenance.
• Deburr and grind metal for proper surface texture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a focused and intricate member for our team to fabricate quality parts, while fulfilling our customers’ needs and meeting their product specifications in a timely manner. Specifically, looking for a fabrication welder.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performing both Mig & Tig Welding applications daily, but primarily Tig.
• Reading and understanding blueprints and welding symbols.
• Welding Light Gauge Steel, Aluminum and working with Fixturing.
• Ensuring safety and quality guidelines are met.
• Notify supervision of faulty equipment and/or defective materials.
• Determine and perform routine maintenance on equipment used.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary for proper surface texture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities for success:

• Thorough knowledge of both Mig and Tig Welding.
• Thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints for layouts.
• Effective time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 5 years both Mig and Tig Welding experience.
• Ability to utilize measuring and power tools.
• Knowledge and proven work experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform both Mig & Tig Welding applications proficiently.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to stand for more than 4 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in hot/cold warehouse environment.
