Job summary

IGE Fans is seeking an experienced MIG and Stick welder to join our Westmont, IL manufacturing facility. You will weld mild steel, stainless, and various alloys, layout workpieces from drawings, and set up welds using the company’s tools. Training will cover our ERP tablet system for process completion.

Minimum 3–5 years of welding experience is required, certifications are a plus, and there are comprehensive benefits with potential overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with steel fabrication and welding (MIG, Stick, stainless)
• Read blueprints or mechanical drawings to set up and weld parts
• Use electric hoist to raise and lower parts to worktable
• Use hand plasma cutter
• Welding certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Weld with MIG and stick on mild steel, stainless and various alloys
• Layout workpieces per mechanical drawings
• Set up welding machine and use hand/power tools
• Learn to use ERP system to process completed work
