Job Title: MIG Welder - Jefferson City, TN

Job Description

Aeroteks client is seeking skilled MIG Welders to join their manufacturing team in Jefferson City, TN. This position plays a critical role in the production of high-quality heavy-duty equipment and components. Ideal candidates will have experience performing MIG welding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Weld test: Mig, Spray arc

Flat and Horizontal, no vertical, basic, 2-3inch carbon steel, ¼-1/2 inch Steel Plates.

Pay: $24.00- 25.00

1st & 2nd Shift Available

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components according to specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with production requirements.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble, fit, and position parts.
• Assist with material handling and movement of fabricated components as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet daily production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, weld symbols, and quality inspection processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $52000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
