Job summary

Aerotek in Corona, CA is seeking a Welding Assistant to support our fabrication team by preparing materials, cleaning components, and assisting with production operations. This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on work in a fast-paced shop.

You will grind and finish welded components, stage materials, and help setup. The position requires basic welding training, ability to pass an internal weld test, and willing to overtime, including Saturdays. Onsite work with safety focus.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of welding experience.
• Completion of basic welding school or vocational training.
• Ability to pass internal weld test for basic joints.
• Proficiency in TIG welding, blueprint reading, and general labor tasks.
• Experience using fixtures and fixturing techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays when needed.

Essential Skills

• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays when needed.
• Ability to pass an onsite welding test during the interview process.
• Ability to meet all requirements necessary to access export-controlled information, technology, or products, where applicable, in accordance with ITAR and other U.S. export control regulations.

Work Environment

Monday through Friday schedule, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corona, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.43 - $24.03/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
