Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC in Columbus, OH seeks a Vice President/General Manager for the Midwest to lead regional operations, drive profitable growth, and establish the contractor of choice for mass grading, utilities, stormwater, and roadwork.

Based in Columbus, you will own a $100 million P&L, shape strategy with clients and partners, mentor a multi-disciplinary team, ensure safety and quality, and optimize projects from preconstruction to closeout in a fast‑growing Midwest market.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in site development and heavy civil construction.
• Deep knowledge of mass grading, utilities, stormwater, and roadwork in the Midwest.
• Strong preconstruction and estimating knowledge, including pricing strategy and contract negotiation.
• Ability to read civil plans, geotechnical reports, surveys, and engineering documents.
• Familiarity with Ohio and Midwest regulatory, permitting, environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the $100 million P&L for the Midwest region.
• Develop and execute regional growth strategies.
• Forecast workload and resource needs.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Represent B&S with clients, developers, municipalities, and engineering partners.
• Oversee recruiting and development of regional staff.
