Job summary

B&S Site Development, based in Columbus, OH, seeks a VP/GM for the Midwest to lead regional ops, drive profitability, and grow the business across site development projects including mass grading, utilities, and roadwork.

You will own the $100 million+ Midwest P&L, guide preconstruction, pricing, and client relationships, and mentor regional teams to deliver safe, on-time results with a focus on accountability and growth.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in site development, heavy civil construction, or land development with oversight of large-scale earthwork, utilities, stormwater, and road projects.
• Deep technical understanding of mass grading, production rates, soil conditions, utility installation, and stormwater systems in the Midwest.
• Strong preconstruction and estimating knowledge including pricing strategy, bid reviews, value engineering, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Midwest region P&L and financial performance.
• Lead strategic growth, forecast workload, and align operations with company goals.
• Oversee project operations, safety, quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, municipalities, and engineering partners.
