B&S Site Development, a fast-growing regional leader in large- parcel site development, seeks a Regional Director of Operations – Midwest to lead on-site activities across the Midwest and manage a field team from Columbus, OH. The role partners with senior leadership to optimize labor, equipment, and schedules while maintaining safety and quality.

You will drive production standards, coordinate with GCs and developers, and mentor field leadership to support rapid growth and strong margins across

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive heavy-civil self-perform construction leadership.
• Deep expertise in earthwork, mass grading, and wet utilities.
• Experience representing a construction organization with GCs, developers, and owners.
• Leadership in regional operations during growth, with workforce planning and resource forecasting.
• Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, and change-management skills.
• Procore knowledge and ability to read and interpret civil plans.
• Columbus, Ohio-based and willing to travel throughout the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities across the Midwest region.
• Oversee Senior Superintendents, Superintendents, foremen, and field crews.
• Represent B&S as the preferred site development partner for mission-critical GCs.
• Partner with the VP/GM – Midwest on pursuits, providing constructability reviews and planning.
• Drive schedule discipline, production rates, and labor/equipment optimization.
• Maintain safety, quality, and turnover standards across multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and mentor field leadership to sustain growth and regional capabilities.
