Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Training Manager for the Midwest Region to lead the development and implementation of customer safety training programs. You will collaborate with Region Sales & Marketing and Safety Directors to drive safety-focused training strategies and regional go-to-market plans.

The role requires 3–5 years of safety training experience, train-the-trainer delivery, and knowledge of OSHA and related standards. Regional travel of about 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of college and related work experience required.
• In select markets, bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience conducting safety training for equipment operators.
• Experience conducting train-the-trainer programs and safety education preferred.
• Demonstrates mastery of a company safety training program and content delivery required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement customer safety training strategy for the Midwest Region.
• Manage customer safety training programs and regional team.
• Train select employees as trainers for safety courses across the region.
• Stay current with occupational safety laws and maintain certifications.
• Report training metrics and collaborate with sales to drive safety and revenue.
