Job summary

The Nowak Group in Chicago, IL is hiring a Business Development Manager for the Midwest to lead sales of electrical testing and engineering services from basing in Chicago, Indianapolis, or Cincinnati. Expect 50% travel to cover WI, IL, IN, OH, KY, MI and drive growth.

You will mentor junior sales engineers, develop the area sales and marketing plan, and present technical solutions to clients while building long-term relationships and regional leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous experience selling electrical testing and engineering services.
• Travel 50% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales support to meet area sales goals.
• Make regular sales calls on major accounts and establish new contacts.
• Deliver effective client presentations with accurate pricing and technical alignment.
• Sell maintenance, engineering services and professional services.
• Develop new accounts and regional national accounts; present to VP level.
• Provide marketing support and participate in trade shows and events.
• Mentor and train new sales associates in sales fundamentals.
