Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Midwest Non-Acute Construction Project Manager to lead Illinois hospital construction projects within the 11404 Support Operations Division - Design and Construction. This full-time role operates on 1st shift with 40 hours per week at Illinois locations.

You will administer projects from bid review to budget tracking, coordinate contractor meetings, review submittals, and ensure conformance to specifications while safeguarding life-safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture (or related major).
• 2+ years of project management experience in hospital or healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the bid review process; analyses quotations and proposals.
• Reviews submittals for accuracy and conformity to specifications.
• Administers construction projects and maintains project documentation.
• Assists in initial budget estimates for approval.
• Reviews bids and assists in selecting appropriate contractors.
• Prepares change orders for approval.
• Reviews and processes pay requests.
• Maintains and updates project budget tracker sheets.
• Coordinates contractor meetings and interfaces between parties.
• Inspects progress and ensures adherence to project schedules.
