OneGoal in Chicago, IL is seeking a Managing Director of External Affairs for the Midwest to lead donor engagement, strategy, and fundraising execution across Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. This hybrid role requires in-person work 3–8 days per month with travel to Milwaukee and Michigan as markets grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Fundraising experience in the Chicago market.
• Ability to travel up to 8 times per month.
• Strong understanding of the Chicago/Midwest philanthropic and education landscape.
• Experience launching fundraising strategies in new or emerging markets.
• Based in the Chicago metro area (preferred).
• Willingness to travel to external stakeholders across the Midwest up to 8 times per month.

• Engage donors and raise the region’s brand across Chicago and emerging Midwest markets.
• Manage donor portfolio and drive revenue growth with data-driven decisions.
