Job summary

Crescent Energy seeks a Midstream Water Engineer to design, optimize, and support water, oil, and gas gathering and disposal systems across Midland and Delaware Basins. You will integrate engineering, operations, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance.

The role emphasizes project development, SWD performance management, and collaboration with internal teams and partners, requiring PE or related certs and 5–8 years of oil & gas experience in midstream

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science required.
• 5–8 years of oil & gas midstream or upstream experience.
• Professional engineer (PE) or related certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Strong technical and project-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic modeling and system analysis for water, oil, and gas pipelines using AFT Arrow, AFT Fathom, and ProMax.
• Design and size pipeline systems, pump skids, and related infrastructure from production forecasts.
• Monitor SWD performance and develop workover procedures for wells.
• Develop capital estimates and track project costs against budgets.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and third-party teams to ensure system readiness.
