Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Technical Operator for Mt. Vernon Midstream to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in terminal and pipeline operations.

The role supports operations with day shift hours, potential overtime, and possible 4/10 schedule; relocation assistance may be available. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, performing maintenance, writing permits, supervising crews, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required with relevant technical training.
• Associate degree preferred for electrical/instrumentation focus.
• 3+ years in oil and gas operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for receipt, storage and delivery of petroleum products.
• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, inspections and calibrations of equipment.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and complete maintenance documentation.
• Write and review work permits for construction or maintenance in operating areas.
• Supervise and provide direction to contract crews.
• Complete required safety and regulatory training.
