Targa Resources is seeking an operator to monitor and optimize plant performance, ensuring products meet specifications. You will install pumps, motors, and valves and perform routine maintenance as needed, while operating cryogenic and treatment systems.

Data collection, permits, and safety procedures form key parts of daily duties. The role requires 2+ years in midstream work, a high school diploma, and flexibility for 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related midstream work experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating (day/night) shifts and some weekends/holidays.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Overtime, weekends, holidays, with call-out readiness and shift flexibility.
• Interpersonal communication skills to interface with teams and vendors.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor plant operation for quality and production meeting data specs.
• Install equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves and perform general maintenance.
• Operate cryogenics, stabilizer, amine and glycol treatment systems.
• Collect data readings and monitor plant equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance on compressors and install equipment as needed.
• Complete work permits and lockout/tag-out docs; attend tailgate sessions.
• Perform routine shutdowns/startups and follow emergency procedures.
• Act as relief operator as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
