Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years supervisory and transportation experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of industry principles and procedures.
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure dock operations are performed safely and efficiently.
• Supervise drivers and manage hiring, training, scheduling, and discipline.
• Conduct meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of company vehicles.
• Monitor misrouted and damaged shipments and implement corrective actions.
• Work with customers to resolve freight issues.
• Oversee quality handling of paperwork.
• Perform job duties of supervised positions to ensure service expectations.
