Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair of company vehicles.
• Monitor misrouted and damaged shipments and implement corrective actions.
• Work with customers to resolve freight issues.
• Oversee quality handling of paperwork.
• Perform job duties of supervised positions to ensure service expectations.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensure that dock operations are performed safely and efficiently, overseeing and assisting with the loading and unloading of freight
• Supervise drivers, oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions

Minimum Requirements

• Two years supervisory and transportation experience
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry
• Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations preferred
• At least 21 years of age
