Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet the department’s evolving demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff across operations and be primary contact for workplace concerns and questions.
• Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and other administrative functions.
• Plan hourly employee schedules to meet daily operations goals and lower costs.
• Enforce policies and regulations to optimize network performance.
• Ensure freight is processed, handled, loaded and delivered timely and damage-free.
