Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee inbound operations on the terminal's dock, manage forklift traffic and oversee loading and palletized freight, while guiding the team to high performance.

You will lead up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel, ensure safety, achieve KPI goals and maintain compliance with DOT/OSHA standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Strong understanding of the LTL trucking industry and operations.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound operations on the terminal's dock and manage forklift traffic.
• Direct loading/sortation of palletized freight and ensure proper loading of carriers.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules.
• Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and dock staff.
• Monitor dock production and KPI goals, plus hours and overtime.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with DOT/OSHA.
