Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) at MUSC Health seeks a licensed Pharmacist to compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a hospital setting. You will consult with medical staff about drug interactions, patient history and medication use, ensuring safe, effective therapies.

Minimum training includes Doctor of Pharmacy with SC licensure; residency preferred. You will maintain required pharmacy data and follow all regulatory, security and hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy is required; pharmacy residency preferred.
• Licensed as a Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Current BLS certification required.

Ensures that all required pharmacy data is recorded and maintained and complies with all regulatory, security and hospital procedures.

Additional Job Description Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
