Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Escondido, CA is seeking a qualified professional to support BCBA supervision and deliver behavioral services to children with autism. You will help develop goals, programs and behavior intervention plans, assist with assessments, and monitor progress under the BCBA’s guidance.

You will train behavior technicians and families in implementing plans, ensure fidelity, and contribute to updates of plans based on data.

Qualifications

• Experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or related disorders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, clients.
• Current CPR/BLS certification and 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develop goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist BCBA in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments.
• Trains behavior technicians in implementation of behavior change plans and goals.
• Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans and goals.
• Assists BCBA in updating behavior change plans with current progress.
• Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the BCBA.
• Trains new behavior technicians and job-specific training to other technicians.
• Provide behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Holds license, certification (LABA, or BCaBA)

• At least one year experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders

• Preferred experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings.

• Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but no limited to coworkers, supervisors, clients

• Computer proficiency required

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• At least 18 years of age

• Spanish speaking preferred
