Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a caregiver/behavior support staff to help children improve social and communication skills and follow behavior plans. You will document progress and assist with ABA-based strategies under supervision.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with children with special needs. Various shifts available; benefit-eligible positions offered.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework or relevant experience in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
