Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Escondido, California is seeking leaders to join our team as Midlevel supervisor BCaBAs and LABA to support ABA therapy for children with autism.

You will develop goals and behavior plans under BCBA supervision, train technicians and families, and monitor progress while ensuring high-quality care. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or related disorders.
• Preferred: holds license/certification LABA or BCaBA.
• Experience in home, school, or community settings preferred.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, supervisors, clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist BCBA in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments.
• Train behavior technicians in behavior change plan implementation.
• Train families, caregivers, and school staff in plan implementation.
• Assists BCBA in updating behavior change plans with progress.
• Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness under BCBA supervision.
• Trains new behavior technicians and provides job-specific training.
• Provide behavioral services to children with autism or other disorders as outlined in the plan.

Responsibilities:

• Develops goals, programs, materials, and behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Assist BCBA in behavioral and skill acquisition assessments.
• Trains behavior technicians in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
• Trains families, caregivers, and school staff in implementation of behavior change plans including behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition goals.
• Assists BCBA in updating behavior change plans including current progress on behavior goals and skill acquisition goals.
• Monitors progress and treatment effectiveness of behavioral programs under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Trains new behavior technicians and job specific training to other behavior technicians.
• Provide behavioral services to children with autism or other behavioral disorders as outlined in the behavioral change plan.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Holds license, certification (LABA, or BCaBA)
• At least one year experience providing behavioral services to children with autism or other related disorders
• Preferred experience in providing behavior analytic services in home, school, or community settings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with appropriate individuals (including, but no limited to coworkers, supervisors, clients
• Computer proficiency required
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• At least 18 years of age
• Spanish speaking preferred
