Job Goal

The Track Coach is responsible for providing students in grades 5-8 with the opportunity to participate on an Track Coach team and to learn about the sport.

Performance Responsibilities

• Collaborate with student athletes on ways to improve and best foster a sense of belonging in a team environment.
• Direct, encourage, and motivate athletes to prepare them for competitions.
• Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing teams.
• Plan strategies and choose team members for each competition.
• Work closely with other coaches and Athletic Coordinator
• Coordinate the issue and return of uniforms
• Maintain a record of athletes times and publicize the results of each meet in local newspapers (i.e., Concord Monitor).
• Write up results to be read by team members on school announcements.
