Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the activity and related experience as determined by the board.
• Ability to foster and sustain students' interest in the activity and promote skill development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with student athletes to improve and foster a sense of belonging in a team environment.
• Direct, encourage, and motivate athletes to prepare them for competitions.
• Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of individual athletes and opposing teams.
• Plan strategies and choose team members for each competition.
• Work closely with other coaches and Athletic Coordinator.
• Coordinate the issue and return of uniforms.
• Maintain a record of athletes times and publicize the results of each meet in local newspapers.
