Job summary

Denver Language School in Denver, CO is seeking a Middle School Spanish Language Arts Teacher to implement its immersion pedagogy and manage a classroom of middle school students. The role reports to the Gilpin Middle School Principal, with an anticipated start date of 09/18/2026.

The candidate will partner with campus leaders, teachers, and families to drive measurable outcomes, while delivering engaging, differentiated instruction in Spanish within the language immersion program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or closely related field
• Completion of required READ Act training
• Official college transcripts (evaluated by NACES)
• Passing score on Praxis 5581 within one year of hire
• Proficiency in Common Core Social Studies standards
• Completion of required READ ACT Training
• Official college transcripts evaluated by a NACES member.
