Job summary

Graland Country Day School in Denver is seeking a part-time Middle School Spanish teacher to work with students in grades 5–8. The successful candidate will be an experienced educator who collaborates with colleagues, families, and leaders to foster a love of learning and strong language skills.

As a World Language teacher, you will co‑plan with the department, potentially serve as a grade‑level advisor, and may coach activities or supervise trips.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (native or near-native).
• Experience integrating Spanish with other disciplines at multiple grade levels.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.
• Comfort with technology and LMS/tools used in instruction.
• Ability to chaperone students on day trips and overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Teach Middle School World Language to grades 5–8.
• Collaborate with World Language department to align curriculum.
• Possibly serve as a grade-level advisor.
• Cooperate with coaches, chaperone trips, sponsor clubs.
• Support DEI initiatives and contribute to a positive school culture.
